Yes, folks. . .the incredible John Smothers, in Karate uniform, making a nice appearance. This version is nice and I was surprised to see Frank using the Les Paul since I have heard he has used strats for this number. Didn't realize he used one of his picking hand fingers for the fast stacato parts. You learn something new everyday I guess. Still this version is nice. I always loved Frank's playing in the lower to mid range frequencies of his solos. He always said he liked playing in the low registers. Lots of great players tend to stick close to the top of the neck, which is cool. Frank just used a lot of great melodic ideas that sound TOTALLY different. Love this stuff! More please!
