Had to look up the "Kill Your Mama" music video on YouTube as I hadn't seen it before, but what a hoot that was to watch. I can imagine how much fun it would have been to make.
Pretty cool show. I do enjoy hearing the stories behind the songs too. It doesn't surprise me about Mesa Boogies: John Petrucci and Allan Holdsworth have both stated that Mesa Boogies are pretty big sounding amps.
Another great podcast! Really loved the Mesa Boogie gear talk and the solo composition composed v.s. improv discussion. Hope some of those stripped back music ideas see the light of day sometime soon. Also some very good video editing in here too.
