Instagram's download feature excludes comments on posts
I'm trying to download all of my posts from Instagram, including the comments on each one. Luckily, Instagram provides the option to download all of the data. When I follow the instructions, I select to download "Media" (posts, stories, etc.) and "Comments."
However, this doesn't show comments from other users on my posts, only comments I've posted on various pieces of content.
Am I missing something? There are plenty of other export and download options, but none of them involve comments.
Instagram does not always show all comments with standard data download, especially other people's comments on your posts. Most often, export is limited to what you wrote yourself. To fully unload all comments, you have to use third-party tools or services that specialize in this. At the same time, the most convenient is download instagram story which allows you to save stories directly to your phone or PC, including videos and photos. Just paste the link to the story, select the format and save. This is convenient if you want to store all your publications and audience reactions, and the standard Instagram export is very limited.
