I bought this Fender Blues Deluxe used from someone in the Detroit area about 15 years ago. He said that he got it used from someone else, and that person told him that Dweezil Zappa had borrowed it for a gig somewhere in the Chicago area and autographed the back of the amp. It was built in 1993, so if this actually occurred, it must have happened sometime between 1993 and about 2005 or so when I got it. The writing on the back is barely legible, but I'm curious to know if this story is legit or not. I have no intention of selling it, because I really like the amp and play it almost daily; I just think it's a cool story.
Dweezil Do you have any recollection of this? It was a long time ago, and a lot of water has passed under your bridge since then, so I would be somewhat surprised if you actually remembered it (unless it saved you in a clutch situation!)...
