About Me:: Long time (1967) fan of FZ. I was in Jr. Hi when my older sister came home to visit from college and brought me a special gift; "You cannot play this around mom or dad. They would not get it." The gift: "Absolutely Free" album (I still have it). I was 13 at the time, a budding classical musician, and it tore my world apart. I will never forget it. I wore the crap out of that LP, and off I went into a realm no one my age had yet experienced at that time. Needless to say, I shared it with several of my musician friends, and created a small group of FZ fans from that point forward. I was fortunate enough to go to several FZ concerts during and following my high school years, and can still remember most of those events as some of the most incredible musical experiences of my time. I am not quite the FZ fanatic that many folks here are, but my earnest appreciation for Franks talents are as deep as any die-hard fan. I have brought uninitiated friends over the past several years to see Dweezil pay homage to his father, and they have all been blown away by his tremendous guitar skills, not to mention the incredible musicians that tour with him. I cannot wait for the next tour to roll into the Dallas area.
